    I don't know anything about kernel. :) But I know there is still some issue in ivan's kernel . Is this a guide to build aosp base on your kernel? https://github.com/xiaomi-android And android 4.3.1 is out . May be 4.4 is going to be released in 10.15 with the Nexus 5 . :cool:

    Ivan's aosp has updated link:http://www.miui.com/thread-1356144-1-1.html Edit: Ivan said there is some bugs in this version. so the latest version is not available now.

    I just test the latest version aosp ivan released . It has the issue . The problem absolutely comes with the newer kernel . You can conform it by flashing the aosp 3.9.27.

    Because Ivan does not update his aosp as soon as he release a newer version kernel . maybe this issue comes with the newer version aosp . I will try Ivan 's latest aosp.

    Help - Downgrade from ver5 to ver4

    replace the boot.img and recovery folder in v4 zip file withe the latest v5 zip files . It is not recommend to downgrade form V5 to V4 once you flash the V5 .

    Or the news' source is a secret , but time will prove it . In the past , there were open kernel source requests on http://en.miui.com/forum.php and http://miui.com/forum.php None of them were replied officially . Just wait , time will tell. That's all we can do .
