I had the same problem. Had to make a clean install to fix it... Backup your phone(just in case) download the 8.8.9 rom to the phone then go to TWRP and wipe everything except internal storage and USB otg. Then flash the new rom and wipe cache and restore everything from MI cloud. It worked for me

Same here... Can't boot any rom after 8.8.3 v1 @ingbrzy when it asks for the sim pin the screen it's on/off every 2 seconds.

You can now choose between settings or search button (New feature on 8.7.19)... If you want the settings buttons go to settings/notifications and status bar/ Notification shade shortcut and change it to settings.

MI5s 4/128 I cant change the toggles on status bar... When i try to edit them i can drag them but when i drop they go back to previous place. Some apps in notifications the text overlaps the icons.. All the rest is good... no heating no lag no other bugs... Portrait mode is impressive! Good job

Too bad...I was getting used to full screen gestures on mi5s... The swipe up was working good... Please consider to add it again.

I still have a backup from 8.3.1 I think it's the more stable miui 9. I will go back to.

I did more than one full wipe and sometimes the phone is good and other times it just starts to heat and lag and draining the battery... It's very unstable... I tried all stable roms and none of them is stable. I don't know what's the problem whith this phone... It's always the last phone to get...

Yes sometimes reboot the phone fix it... But everytime I reboot my phone it turns allmost settings to default (ringtones, status bar, letter size, lockscreen, and more...) everytime I reboot my phone I need half an hour to change settings again... It's been like that for more than a month... No...

Mi5s Batery drain and lags everywhere...

Anybody knows how to make *no-support-for-this-app-on-this-forum* work on a mi5s without root? And why it use to work until some time ago? Thanks
