Themes App connection error, was resolved on older ROM, too (i'm on a 4.4.11 and since some days, it's working. Probably was a server side problem, or they added some legacy communication)

I read that theme app changed in latest MIUI chinese releases, but in the multilang is still used the oldest one and, since they changed the way the app communicate with servers, our application don't work. You can try with the chinese app apk - almost sure you can find it oin the web -...

The EX versions, are the so called "Experimental", but i think now are no longer released (the actual MiUi JBL version is 29..much greater than the JLB7/14 the WiUi 3.8.23 Ex is based on). Honestly, i don't know the differences between the two releases..sorry!

I got that problem only using an old version of WiUi (of august) and the last MiUi 4.1.10. Flashing the newer WiUi solved my problem. Maybe you're experiencing the same problem, using an old MiUi and a (too) newer WiUi.. Try to flash last MiUi, too, if you still haven't do that..

Generally wipe cache isn't needed. Do it only if you experience some odd behaviour or frequently FC! ;)

For the mail..try to wipe cache o reflash...i don't have any of these issue.. For the framerate, instead..there's nothing you can do.. :( (I am annoyed by this low smoothness, too..)

I updated system 2 to MIUI 4.1.3 and now..my WIUI doesn't work anymore! :( (the phone app crashes!) Well..i'll wait the 4.1.10 and i'll update my old WiUi (3.8.something). Anyone knows where to find the AOSP google keyboard? It was light and had the long press function for punctuation marks...
