Mokee OS OFFICIAL Android 4.4.4 ( Updated on daily basis)

That sucks, sorry to hear that. I was lucky, was on the 0712 build, dirty flashed the 0719 without any problems, and then dirty flashed 0623 on top of that with still no problems. The only issue was the keyboard, which I deleted. I don't need it anyway since I use Swype. So far I'm on track to...

How many of us will be buying Xiaomi MI4 ?

I know what you mean, the S5 Neo will likely be a disappointment, as is the case with most Samsung phones, but I'm just adding to the list the number phones that still exist that aren't gargantuan in size. The Z3 Compact is definitely the phone I'm most interested in, I would settle for the Z1...

Mokee OS OFFICIAL Android 4.4.4 ( Updated on daily basis)

Thanks for the heads up, Imontoya! The June 23 build seems to have done the trick! Battery life is really good so far. I haven't fully tested yet, but already I'm noticing huge gains. Swyped from my Mi2S

How many of us will be buying Xiaomi MI4 ?

I understand your dislike for on screen buttons, they're so unpredictable and not dependable like capacitive or hardware buttons, but it's something I could deal with nonetheless. Another "mini" phone with hopefully decent specs is the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S5 Neo. I hear it's 4.7" (not...

Mokee OS OFFICIAL Android 4.4.4 ( Updated on daily basis)

I might give that a shot too and then if it's still a problem, I'm going to try the Linaro build. Mokee itself works perfectly fine, but the battery life for the two aforementioned releases is not acceptable. Swyped from my Mi2S

Mokee OS OFFICIAL Android 4.4.4 ( Updated on daily basis)

I'm finding battery life for the latest 071914 release to be pretty awful, just as the one before it. Swyped from my Mi2S

How many of us will be buying Xiaomi MI4 ?

Precisely! LOL I'm amused how they keep making phones thinner not realizing it does nothing to make holding the phone easier. It compromises battery life and makes picking up a phone so awkward you need a case to make it thicker. Imagine holding a credit card or a rigid piece of paper like a...

How many of us will be buying Xiaomi MI4 ?

No kidding, I thought Android was about choice, but it really isn't. It's either go big or go home. It boggles my mind that manufacturers don't realize they're alienating an entire demographic. I spent months researching before I found Xiaomi, effectively shunning all the major players. In fact...

How many of us will be buying Xiaomi MI4 ?

From what I've read, it's approximately the size of a Nexus 5 except a little bit easier to hold as it's not as wide. That's good that Xiaomi shrunk the bezels, but improvements can always be made in that design element. Also, I think bigger screens are unnecessary. I'm not an old man and my...

    [ROM][LINARO] CyanogenMod 11 Modified Edition [09/09/14]

So to clarify, the only (major) issue this rom is experiencing is True Dual Boot incompatibility? I'm currently on one of Mokee's latest builds and am not pleased with battery life so was looking to test this Linaro build, and hopefully it was stable enough to be used as a daily driver. At...

How many of us will be buying Xiaomi MI4 ?

The biggest reason why I got the Mi2(S) was because it was the only flagship on the market at the time that wasn't a phablet, and while the Mi4 is certainly small (relatively speaking) for a 5" phone, I'm ditching Xiaomi because they now follow the same formula as every other manufacturer and...

Mokee OS OFFICIAL Android 4.4.4 ( Updated on daily basis)

I'm used to getting at least 6 hrs of screen time a day (3120 mAh battery), balance mode, normal brightness, and not many other tweaks other than Greenify. GPS, Wi-Fi, and 3g are on all the time and with Mokee so far, I haven't been able to get to 5 hrs. I'm still testing the release mentioned...

I'm using Mokee right now too (second latest release) and am noticing the battery life isn't all that impressive either. Do you remember which version had good battery life? Swyped from my Mi2S

[MOD] VolumeBoost for Mokee, WIUI KK, MIUI...

Has this mod worked for anyone else? I'm on Mokee and like many, I'm finding the volume is quite low and have to strain to hear the person on the other line for any calls while in public. Swyped from my Mi2S

Mokee OS OFFICIAL Android 4.4.4 ( Updated on daily basis)

Same, everything else seems to be working great, and like you, I use Netflix primarily with Chromecast so it's not that big of a deal, but it does suck that we can't view it properly on our phones. I should point out that when I eventually got it to play properly on my phone, there's no set...

Mokee OS OFFICIAL Android 4.4.4 ( Updated on daily basis)

Is anyone else experiencing an issue with Netflix where the image is distorted, but audio is fine? I find if I exit the video and press play enough times, it eventually plays properly, but you can imagine it's quite a nuisance. Swyped from my Mi2S

    [ROM][KK][4.4][2014-05-18] CyanogenMod 11.0

That seems to have done it! I thought clicking YES whenever it asked me if I wanted to apply root when rebooting was good enough, but I guess not. I didn't realize there was a separate option in Philz to "re-root". Thanks!
