"Hot word" is a built-in function of the Mi Browser, Maybe you can not change the setting to OFF. I don't think it is better than other browsers, We recommend using another browser (e.g. "Chrome").

Currently distributed is MIUI 10 (8.8.30dev) , but the theme you are displaying is for MIUI 9. You cannot apply a different MIUI version of a theme because there are several changes in how the UI is displayed.

"MIUI Global 9.9.9(0)" is a version that does not exist official (and xiaomi.eu). It is caused by the store installing a bad quality ROM called "Fake ROM". If you install xiaomi.eu or official ROM, the problem will be fixed.
