    Stable or beta?

    Thanks! Installed EU beta rom successfully by following the steps described in the first post. The only problem was TWRP being overwrited by stock recovery after reboot.

    There is a zip file you can install with TWRP. It unlocks all camera features including portrait mod on both cameras, full manual mode etc... Works well on my mido.

    It looks that the Lock screen affects the speed of fingerprint responding and cause some delay. In 8.8.9 there is no way to skip screen lock and go directly to home page (at least I cannot find it). Even in Developer options "Skip lock screen" cannot be changed.

    I also have no such problem on my Redmi Note 4x. Now running 8.8.9 EU rom. Enter CIT and test buttons and vibration manually or try again with clean install and see how it goes.

    OK, I did it. Now it seams better but still not as fast as in previous builds. If the screen is off, it takes 1-2 sec to respond. Before it was almost instantly. No delay at all.
