Cancro has bad battery this week, both devices. Thinking about reverting.

(This was about having miui on system 1 and smiui on system 2 using cwm) So no? I thought having two separate systems each it's own Rom I would have a nice and quick alternative. But this is not possible? To have a dev or stable miui Rom alongside sMiui?

Can someone point me to a rom for the mi4 developer rom global, so I can install it system one and have smiui on system 2. Or is this not possible at all ? I use cmw to flash my smiui on sys 2 and make backups.. However I would like to update miui on system 1 but when I try with cmw it gives...

I too loose widgets regularly. I suspect backup too. Not sure though. Mi4 here. Yet battery is excellent on this rom for me.

I dont have a C or F! I run an iMac! (as stated three times before... lol!) But I'm already done. ;) I just needed the located... But then I remembered I can drag the recovery file on the terminal window so the correct file path is automatically pasted correctly there. ;) So now I have smiui on...

Where do I place the recovery.img? I googled my ass off, but it says f://tool folder... I don't have that... So where do I place the recovery.img? On my phone? in the root? On my mac? In the same folder where adb/fastboot is located? (In my case on the desktop of the iMac.)

Okay, on my mi2 it went smooth the way you described it. However, I came from a tbd, and 5.3.27. Never updated since. I am not sure what partition it took though. Have you tried to cook and download it again? Perhaps even use other browser?

What phone? What error? How did you try to flash? It A bit more info might help? I too had problems, mi4 , updater app. Seemed related too SuperSu, by really not sure about that.

I was able to fastboot, then installed the one from the link with miFlash, but it didn't proceed beyond lock screen / no adb / no file manager, proces .com.androd.phone (?) stopped. but the I was able to start mirecovery... I had to wipe user files... now it works. and user files are restoring...

I enabled SuperSU ( i always had) asked for an update, then reboot and got stuck. Mi4, how do I fix this? Won't fastboot, open mirecovery, won't shutdown even. Now what?

I used cmw to make a weekly backup before a rom update. Apparently I need twrp now? Can this make similar backups too? And choose which system while to flash the Rom too? Cancro I mean. Have some issues with widgets and mifit :(

Utterly cool! ! Is the download page with the links supposed to be refreshing it's links constantly? Second, can either cwm or twrp be used? Or should the default recovery be used by renaming the downloaded rom to update.zip? Might just place this on my old mi2s... :) Thanks a million.
