I know what you mean, I noted that apparently incomplete tranfer as well when copy the ROM from PC to the root of internal storage of the phone. Despite that I could update with TWRP without any corrupt advice. So maby it's the windows that makes a wrong time calculation of the copy duration...

Because you are changing the Android version, I think you get locked the bootloader. There is some adb comands in fastboot mode to see that or use the MIUI unlock tool. I think also you need first flash the China marshmallow ROM and then the xiaomi.eu ROM. I had a similar experience and was the...

Try this: go to settings/wallpapers/ then make enable carrousel wallpapers. If don't works your ROM it's different from mine and sorry I don't know how help you more...

In my ignorance, I would flash again the rom. For set corrousel, if you wake up the screen you will find on right up corner a kind of flower that you can manage your carrousel photos.
