How do I get rid of the hideous options for cleaning etc on the recents menu? I'm staying with 8.11.15 for now as it doesn't have that. Can we get an option to have it removed?

Do you have encryption/boot password enabled? I can reproduce this over and over by enabling boot password and encrypting, it bricks the phone.

Ok I found the reason for the need to wipe data at least for my Redmi 4 prime. If you have enabled encryption, the latest ROM will bootloop and sit at "Starting Android". Formatting system then reverting to the previous ROM allows you to boot fine with encryption without issues. @admin, was...
