Probably distance issue? How far are you from the wifi router? I have the same issue with my wifi router that comes with my isp. Frequent disconnection. But i changed it to a better one and installed openwrt on it. I have no problem with the new router + openwrt.

When i tested it, it appears that the screen color becoming too bright. Is it because the camera app turns the phone to its full brightness? And it is draining the battery very fast. ------------- -Edit- There is actually a setting in the camera app to adjust the brightness :)

It actually worked on my monitor. There are certain distance when the code will be detected. The easiest for me is to point the camera near to the code and increasing the height slowly.
