Wrong... After 2 days my Mi5 slider doesnt work. I can manualy correct autobrightness, but as soon as it changes it "forgets" my correction - for ex. I go in dark rom, it dimms the display too much and I correct it with slider. But when I go into bright environment and than back to dark, auto...

Was better before... also stock Android has older MIUI behavior... But compared to other failed features or not fixed bugs in Xiaomi roms this is not such a big thing. PS: we don't need to look at a slider to know what the current brightness is... You already see it on the entire screen!

Are you sure it is bricked. Maybe just bootloader got locked? You need to write more info, like which rom before, which you installed, twrp used, any errors when installing, what are the simptomes now etc....

Whats with this new auto brightnes? The slider shouldnt move when auto. Before in auto it was adjusted with light sensor and with slider you adjusted the range of brigtness. It bugs me because now at night screen is to dark, but if I move the slider it is not autoadjusting anymore. Dont know...

And to be fair... From a 100-130 usd phone you cant expect too much... But still one of the best devices for the money.

Won't work with root or unlocked bootloader... so only way is to have factory recovery, locked BL and original Xiaomi MIUI China/Global (not .eu ROM - because you will have to unlock BL for .eu rom)...

Impossible... the hardware doesn't support recording at higher framerates... only 1080p@30fps... Even on flagship Mi5 it's not supported well... You have apps for software slowmotion, but that just lowers your playback framerate...

It's a known old system issue... but Xiaomi just doesn't care...

Yes in TWRP you can see the phone's storage from your PC...

same here... but I can copy it with no error when I'm in twrp... so at least that works...
