chrome, firefox or "browser", doesn't matter. eg. www.jwplayer.com does not work, only blackscreen instead of video. with v5 and the first v6 versions it worked, so strange. but here should be discussed your random reboot issue. :)

did you try wiping cache in recovery? I don't encounter random reboots, just weird fcs, gui-lags and i also can't play embedded videos in browser on many websites. So everything is fine..

And mipad.

cm11 does not stutter on my mi2, i also don't have this reboot issue. stuttering is exactly what miui6 does on my mipad.

Shield is 32 bit, like mipad and N9 64bit. But this does not help us in the end.

there is no aosp for mipad which you could flash, so nexus 9 is the only way to go for a while. i would also prefer aosp over miui.

@ "fluency" on mipad i still have the same lags as before, eg. when pulling up the status/notification bar and often when i switch between apps. regardless of how good the hardware is, you can mess up everything with a bad rom, hell, the rom feels slower than a mi2 with cm11.

Also tried different Mikey apps in the meanwhile, no sucess. Clicky app works, but seems to be really buggy and often does not react. It also seems to drain the battery.
