My Mi Max shut down due to the battery being depleted. I plugged the charger, opened it and this happened, like I had just installed a rom update or cleared cache and dalvik, neither which I did. Works fine though. Weird ... Sent from my Mi Max PRO

I don't think a factory reset will help. Open the Mi account from the phone options and you have an option there to remove it from the phone Sent from my Mi Max PRO

It's been posted several times with the previous version as well, just replace the updater script file from within the rom file with one from a previous version that worked. Sent from my Mi Max PRO
