And after you flashed ROM did you restore your data from back up? If yes, the problem can be in some corruption file which is there. I would suggest to back up your data and to do the clean reinstall with multi 4.7.11. Test if the problem persists and only after that restore your data from back up.

Try to set default theme and make sure the system language is english. And phone restart won't do any harm...

Isn't it possible that you accidently turn on something in Settings - Developer options? If yes, disable development completely, if this helps, you can enable it and find the "culprit" in there. If this is not the solution I would suggest looking deeper into that script of yours you installed...
