Clean reinstall?

Mx player has it's own brightness setting that is independent on system settings. In the player while playing a video try to swipe down on the left side of the screen. It is possible that the default brightness settings is too high...

OK, I guess everyone has it's own priorities and needs. I expect from OS to provide nice and smooth environment for the apps I use, and I can say Miui delivers. But for instance - as you listed - better memory mgmt or some device encryption would be nice.

Have you done any changes in keyboard settings? If yes, clean app cache in Settings - apps - "your keyboard". Do you have Input methods in notification area? And also did you check in Settings - language and input, that your keyboard is there and is active? You can also try installing other...

Just clean the user data (all cache) and you should be fine.

Are you missing some of the Kit kat features? I wonder which... I think new miui is just behind the door...
