I'm not an expert but restoring the whole /data partition with twrp its virtually like not wiping it at all. Personally I use OandBackup to backup and restore apps and their data.

Tried and I confirm it works. Also it's already zipped, so it's easier to install. My only complain is that there's no Italian. Oh and the UI isn't very "materialized" like the 2.8.7.0

I confirm, but this only happens with 2.0 megapixel (both front and back camera). All other resolutions are unaffected.

I get the same error if I flash 5.5.3 over MK51.1-201512302020 My TWRP also says that I can't flash Android 5.1.0 over a a newer version (5.1.1). Formatting /system doesn't solve the issue. I guess the only way is to install another ROM before which doesn't check for the current ROM version...

I already did the fastboot procedure (it didn't take that much, maybe 3 min?), but then when installing smiui I always ended up pulling the battery because I thought it was stuck at boot animation. I guess I just had to be more patient instead of freak out. :)

Can't help because I'm using the previous version and I have no plans to update. Anyway xposed is already flashed, but you still need to install the frontend, the GUI. Which means that you have to install the app but there's no need to flash.

Maybe I'm wrong but those problems, especially the one about the slow autofocus and the attachments are quite common also among other ROMs.
