Thanks for the fast update. Waiting for the Note 4 MTK. Hopefully this will fix my broken Google sync and Google Play Games issue.

I think I'm gonna update with Friday's update no matter what and hope my Google Play Games issues will be gone. I have no idea what's up, it's only with my main Google account.

No, it does messes up with my wallpaper sometimes lol but that's about it. I think I originally pressed apply twice because I got the message about the download twice.

I tried, it does the same thing. It says it's off (but it's applied), turn it on, it doesn't change and turn it off it doesn't change either. Redmi Note 4 - Latest weekly

Works fine, though now it's impossible to disable it for me, even when it's "off"

I'm personally looking at the Xiaomi Hybrid Pro which are only around 16 bucks but are dual drivers which sounds so much better than regular single drivers.

Anybody with a Google Play issue? I cannot stay signed in in any game, it acts like I'm not signed in and keep asking me to sign in. It works if I select my GF's account though. Also the sync in the settings says error only on my account. I tried removing my account and also reinstalling Google...

Updated my Note 4 MTK today as promised. Everything is going fine so far, will have to see if I still have those weird phone crash and random extreme lag since last ROM. Hopefully the battery is a bit better too. So far the AnTuTu score is one of the best for this phone

I'll install this update tomorrow on my note 4 MTK. I think last week has some sort of memory leek or something, my phone is acting weird. Random phone crash where everything freezes (background stuff still working) with occasional System Process not responding popups until the phone does a...

This is not related to this week's ROM specifically but does anyone lacks any extra info on apps battery usage? (Note 4 MTK)

This option is also missing on my Redmi Note 4 MTK.

I have no idea what been up with my phone lately but rarely (mostly if tapping extremely fast on the screen in a game) my phone would hang. System process would say it's not responding and the top bar would disappear (like killing explorer.exe on a PC.) except here it doesn't restart or fixes...

Do you mean your friend received an empty message? In this case, long press the menu button to access the SMS options, and disable GSM Alphabet. MTK isn't update friendly. It's not really Xiaomi's fault, it's Mediatek. Qualcomm phones always get the Android updates first.

You guys should try to go in: Settings/Installed apps/Defaults/Assist and voice input/Assist app And set it to Google App.

You can install the APK and be able to play for a few minutes but after a tiny while you'll get an error. You then can either delete a specific file and play again until it blocks again or delete game's data, re download it and play for a few. In other words, nobody got time for that :)

I know that usually the preview changelog pretty much states everything that matters the most so yeah, low chances of having something significant hidden now but hey, better to be optimistic right I didn't notice, good one!
