Didn't try the latest build with 4.4.4 but don't take more than 3 minutes to boot.

My latest experience with Mokee build 2014-06-12 wasn't so good. I have some drains(only way to mantain some battery it's with powersaving ON and "Power save" profile) but the system it's really stable and smooth, today I'll try CM or PAC.

Do you optimize this build with ArchiDroid like @M1cha? Makes it much faster! On XDA they optimized OMNI 4.4.3 without errors and butter smooth

Agree, MIUI uses 720p default but you can change to 1080p and my Mi-2 makes great videos with this resolution(1080p). About the AAC files, they are used by whatsapp for audio messages but I use for music FLAC and the internal codec are fine, with external program like VLC, MX Player or wathever...
