Mi Mix1 lithium, dirty flash from previous. Everything seems to work, except for "double tap to lock screen" stopped working.

Unlock bootloader again, official way. Then you can flash with miflash. Why this happened I have no idea, and don't have your device. Just remember someone in same situation.

To fix data plan, try clearing all data for the Security app. This seems to be one of those problems that appear only sporadically when you do a dirty flash every week.

It is the same problem, I was getting that too when I chose limited download - I could download, but had to approve each app. When I chose unlimited, it would just hang.

This seemed to work for me, was not this version but several months ago. Perhaps this is one of those odd bugs that seem to appear sporadically when you do "dirty flash" all the time. The only other thing I can think of to do, besides a "clean flash", would be to clear data for the Play Store app.

Check download settings in Play Store. Install Wifi Analyser app in some device that works to see what channel the router is using. Change channel in router to one the phone can see.

Yes, I have also a Mix1 and a Note 2, and they both get at best 4G+ with typically 2*band3. I don't have any newer Xiaomi phone, but I do have a Razer Phone1 with SD 835. It gets regularly 3CC with typically band3+band7+ band20. However, the practical download speed is only marginally better...

Check your APN for mms with your provider. If the provider says it is ok, and mms still doesn't work, try adding this string in the "APN type" field: default,mms,supl,hipri You probably have to reboot afterwords. Don't ask me what this does, I have no idea.
