Hi, flashing will reinstall the software on your phone, you can do this via your PC for when your phone does not turn on. Can you get into fastboot mode (Power+volume down)? If the answer is yes, then you're gonna want to follow this guide to flash with MiFlash...

I think somehow your software is messed up, you might wanna try to flash MIUI with MiFlash.

My battery life is s**t, to put it in one word. Had this on both miui v5 and v4, also getting the massive battery drops after a reboot since v5.

I've had that it would disconnect when I would even move the phone for 1 cm, I had to lay it down perfectly or it would not connect to my pc. The cable did not slip out however, it just disconnected for some weird reason. This issue has passed over time, no idea why.
