Cleaning your screen with soap and water should not break anything. I ad the problem and it disappeared after some time, then appear again ager flashing a rom... So it should be somehow hard and software related. (I assume we are talking about using carefully a cloth.)

This was one of the main reasons I changed to a HTC One. I don't know why, but there is no multitasking in Xiaomi mi3,no matter what you try. I tried everything, permissions, auto start, ram scripts, stable and developer rom... But i think it's software fault. Maybe it will change in V6

MIUI is a RAM predator. You won't find any noticeable lag in any Xiaomi phone, but multitasking is horrible for being a 2GB smartphone. I'm right now using n HTC One with Sense ROM and it works much better in terms of RAM management / usage. I can answer a call without worrying that the current...

I don't use CM cause I can't (I own a Mi3) but the only things I'll miss from miui will be: - call recording - use pattern to lock apps - easier use of privacy function (I still don't fully understand hot to use AppOpps in CM) - and other details like showing the number of rings from a lost...

You won't have 3G at all. It's not compatible. 2G should work fine though.

Latest stable MIUI is an official kitkat stable ROM. But I'm afraid your problem won't be solved with software...

I prefer HTC One except for the camera. Bigger and better display, the perfect sound in a smartphone, and great support from HTC and community. Tons of ROMs to try. And better 3g signal reception since Xiaomi mi2s doesn't have 900mhz band

You have to install a developer version, or flash a stable version with modified build.prop and su binaries, or simply flash supersu

Well, I've had a good experience with banggood buying Xiaomi accesories,but I don't know about their after-sale serivce (I didn't need it) and this is what most customers look at. Let's hope that they will do it better than others like ibuygou or alegrecompra.

Yes, you can use almost any branded charger. I think only Samsung ones give different output (although it won't be harmful AFAIK) You can also try charging via pc usb to make sure it's a problem with the charger

Most probably you need to replace your charger. Don't use it anymore or you could damage your battery and motherboard.

I'm trying latest version and init.d is not working. It had not "exec" permissions, but after changing them it still doesn't work
