I have realized that MiKey app causes lots of wkaelocks, decreasing battery life. Maybe it will be better integrated in miui so it lets the phone to deep sleep well.
I won't use it for now.
Buy only in reliable stores like ibuygou. Alegrecompra is another one, I've bought several things and some people have bought their Xiaomi phones there without any problem.
Maybe you can also try to clean your usb port with a bit of alcohol (trying to not sprinkle any other parts of the phone)
Is this an original Xiaomi screen? A seller told me that Xiaomi doesn't sell replacements; so everything you will find it's a copy (low or high quality, but a copy)
I've heard a lot of people that had similar problems after using car chargers. Low quality car hargers can damage your battery and/ or motherboard. So I'm afraid that maybe it's a problem with this part.
Maybe you can try to send it to repair under warranty.
What file should we download for our WCDMA version?
The WCDMA/CDMA from here?
Also, I can't find the MPRG*.hex file after unpacking the tar file to use miflash
I was using an outdated version. But now I don't know which NvBoot script should I use.
The very worst thing that could happen, and is not that much likely to happen, is that you will need to make a factory reset. But, again, 99% of the times everuthing will work ok.
One more thing (sorry if I'm "occupying" this topic :P) I've just realized that the screen is badly set in the frame. 3 of 4 corners shows the screen above the frame. I've added the photos. Maybe this is why proximity sensor and LED doesnt work.
Well, I could live with this... but I paid 107€ for a original or at least good quality screen, and waited 3 months. And I don't like supporting cheaters! So I will try to get my money back.
The worst thing is that I could have bought it for 80€ and replace it myself and I'm 100% sure the...
The worst thing is that they're taking me as a stupid, and they say that I didn't tell'em that proximity sensor and LED were damaged. Well, they weren't! I should have record a video of myself making all test from the cit app before sending to them.
Time to open a legal complaint against...
Ok, I remember that in my old HTC Desire, we used 0 and 1 for enabling and disabling button backlight.
But well, I 've tried now with 200 and still nothing, neither in blue or green. So I assume that it is a hardware problem...
Thanks!
I don't know if this is correct:
In recovery, I mounted system and opened an adb shell from pc and typed:
echo "1" > /sys/class/leds/red/brightness
But nothing happens. (the response in shell is a line with the command i entered)
Hi again. As I suspected, the store is telling me that the problem with LED and proximity sensor are not their responsability.
Is it possible to say, looking at dmesg or logcat, if there is a hardware or software issue with both parts? Thanks again
Different camera? They only had to replace the screen :S Maybe it's only the front camera ? I don't want to believe they have cheated me that way.
Well, just in case someone from Spain reads this: DO NOT BUY IN TODOPAD.ES
PS: I just sent you a coffee because of your work with CM and your...
