    MIUI 11.1 9.10.31

I can understand that they want to use/prefer/recommend a specific version of TWRP (in this specific case TWRP 3.3.1-46 Unofficial by mauronofrio) but still, If I chose to unlock my device and use a custom recovery I would really like a courtesy notice when something - in this case a ROM Update...

Yes, but you have to remove the Xiaomi "Search App" and reboot. You can use an app like Titanium Backup to do so.

Had the same issue. Completely remove the Galaxy Wereable app, including all plug-ins, Samsung Health and Samsung Pay. Then re-install everything and make sure you turn off MIUI Power Management for both main app and plug-in. Also, check that the permission for geolocalization is set to...

There is a specific option for this in the Settings, under the Launcher section.

    MIUI 11.1 9.10.31

I don't understand why the last update had to force a previous version of TWRP without any kind of warning. I was using latest 3.1.1-1030 which works great on MI 9, but after the attempted upgrade to the MIUI 9.10.31 I ended up with a downgraded TWRP and - of course - a bootloop. I had to...

    MIUI 11.1 9.9.26/27 v2 - MIUI 11

Have you tried with a clean install? I had a similar issue, although not on the same device. And I couldn't get past the boot screen without doing a proper clean install, meaning I had to Format Data in TWRP. (please be careful to have a backup of your files before doing so!)

    MIUI 11.1 9.9.26/27 v2 - MIUI 11

It took a Full Wipe (data included) on my MI 9 to finally boot properly. [TIP] In case someone else encounters this problem, a "sure tell" is to check if the "powered by Android" logo on boot screen (black screen with "MI" logo) has changed. It must have a new font and a new image. If not, then...

    MIUI 11.1 9.9.26/27 v2 - MIUI 11

Thanks for your hard work. Unfortunately, I encountered a boot loop on MI9 with TWRP 3.3.1-42. Device will constantly reboot in recovery,

    [Tuto] [Mi 9] Install xiaomi.eu + Magisk

Using the TWRP provided in this thread I was able to successfully switch from Global ROM to Xiaomi EU on a Global device. However, I'm unable to install updates due to an "encrypted device" warning, even though I did not activate any encryption and I also formatted data prior to installing the...

    Low volume during call

My solution was to use Magisk to install "James DSP" Module and enable the personalization for Headset and Speaker (if you use it for calls).

    Flashing Tutorial For Oreo

RFontes I’m not quite sure if this may help, but you can try the following steps: 1. While your phone is active, remove any security code you may have for access (PIN, Password, Sequence, Face Recognition, etc.) and remove any SIM PIN. 2. Now pen the SIMcard tray and reboot the...

    Flashing Tutorial For Oreo

Quick answer: Why on earth, oh why someone would want to do all this non-sense and lose data due to a data wipe ?! STOP IT, don’t go any further without knowing what you are doing! Long Answer: Ok, now that I got that quick thought out of mind, and hopefully have stopped someone from losing...

    Missing Lte Band 20 Support

From my personal knowledge (and I've researched/tried/tampered a lot) It all depends on your Mobile Operator. I have a non-global model (so called china version) which is missing the aforementioned band, and yet I'm able to obtain LTE/LTE+ with my provider in Italy. Only problem I have, I...

    Oreo 8.0 Mi Note 2

which ROM are you referring to? is it the Xiaomi EU or another one? If the latter, you should check developer own thread for Q&A. In the first case, could you please post the TWRP version and ROM version you are using? Thanks. Also...simplest trick which came in mind: have you tried a Full Wipe...

    Twrp

Use official latest TWRP (works perfectly) and use the classic ADB/Fastboot command sequence to push recovery to the phone and then install it. https://dl.twrp.me/scorpio/ Takes no more than 5 minutes, I believe no more than 4 steps are required. And everything is described clearly on TWRP page.

    Safetynet & Root Etc..

The "safety net" issue has nothing to do with Xiaomi.eu ROM but instead it all depends on Magisk and, of course, on the relative module. There is an active thread for the development of the new BETA module over at XDA, if you are interested to take a look. But it's still a beta, so in most...

    Mi Note 2 Discontinued (?)

I just made a very quick search and I easily found two stores offering the global version. I guess it depends from your country and of course for the target price you are aiming at. ;-)

    Mi Note 2 Discontinued (?)

No, it's just a high end terminal that it's not stocked in high numbers by european resellers. There is a quite long waiting time for some e-shops, true, but if you search on-line there are many EU resellers that have it in stock. ;-)

    Screen Protector ??

I've tried a few dozen since I had my Note 2, from 1$ to 33$ ... and the only one whom actually works is the RAUGEE. It's the only one who fits completely the screen, without any empty space, and has a pretty good resistance. The only side-note is that the oleophobic coating isn't really the...

Quite a few unfortunately. ;-( Most important one is that 2 CPU cores are not active, as firstly discovered (on other device) by @peocawe and confirmed (on yet another device) by @r0cc0 .
