If you are going to wipe system , do it before flashing new Rom, and remain in twrp without rebooting (or, reboot into twrp from trwp) afterwards you wipe only dalvik and Cache! Wiping system also does not mean formatting data!! After format everything is gone!

I think this is a past problem with modules in magisk need to be disabled before flashing, try and see if it corrects your problem.

A new Rom version comes out every year about this time and even after a full year there are still bugs in the old version! What can you expect in the first week of a new rom besides big headaches !!
