[rom]-- Smiui Rom -- Ultimate Custom Rom --[multilang,stable/weekly]

Maybe a dumb question, but why would I (want) to disable xiaomi framework? (I guess, I have no idea what's it's use is... oops)

Not sure if I add to sakura10's confusion, but I use a font from another theme. (Install theme (X) completely, than install original theme, BUT keep font from X.) It looks glorious. (looked it up: X = Neon lamp_2.1 theme, which is a free theme I think.) And Sebsch? I'm truly greatful for your...

Not sure about the battery. I thought so (three versions back okay) that is is less than before. But I am so not consistent in my phone use, it's hard to tell.

After flashing phone was really slow, FC on the Play Stupid, widgets not loading, and almost a total system freeze/lock because it was so slow. Then a reboot... And it's flying again. No fc of gapps yet. Good work!

[rom]-- Smiui Rom -- Ultimate Custom Rom --[multilang,stable/weekly]

Did you try? Does it work? It asks me to replace the original app (makes sense) but I'd rather not. Or I just try it on the other partition...

Took me some time but I know it now: (I think) I had a stray Google Play/Services in my system, being a system app also it's easy to 'not notice' it. When I made I MIUI backup this stray was included. I didn't notice it was my 'stray' app but that it was the original system app... When restoring...

[rom]-- Smiui Rom -- Ultimate Custom Rom --[multilang,stable/weekly]

Well, actually I did run into trouble. Sorry about that. I installed SMIUI over default MIUI (v5)... it fails to connect WIFI. (Keeps saying its trying) So I wiped cache(and dalvik). (No factory reset though.) Did not work. I tried reverting to MIUI (v5) (from yesterday) But now it stays in...

I have TBD and Wiuiv6 on Sys1 and Miuiv5 on Sys2. (So otherway around, not sure if that causes problems? I have that gapps FC on starting Sync, other than that no issues.) I would like to try SMIUI, but not sure if at this point WIUI or SMIUI is more stable? WIUI was more tweaked and had a long...

    miui 6 on my mi3

"does it has all the features miui v5 had" Funny thing is, sometimes I discover something 'new' on my mi3V6, only to find it already in my Mi2V5... So I guess I didn't know my phones so thoroughly as I thought. The new menu button assignments took some time to get used to... However, other...

I'm a newbie and I need some help with my new MI3

You could try updating it, but the phone being fake, it might cause some (more) issues. If it's not an urgent reason to update, you might want to leave it? Otherwise, you might try sideloading the zip (try ftp, or any other method) in the top directory (root folder). Make sure the file is named...

    Review of your mi2 :)

The good news? it can handle a drop very well... The bad news? ... Guess ... Ow and batterylife... usually about 20-24 hours. So including the night, with a screen on time of about... say 3 to 5 hours... Mileage may vary.
