    MULTI 8.1.18

Global and China MIUI 9 Stable for Mi Note virgo have been out for a bit, will xiaomi.eu version arrive or should I just install the Global?

Latest Xaiomi.eu Rom For Mi Note Virgo?

The latest dev ROM is the 7.11.16. Since then, official stable MIUI 9 ROMs have been released, but sadly no xiaomi.eu ports have arrived for those and I don't know if they will ever arrive.

Is Xiaomi.eu Going To Port Stable Miui 9 For Eol Devices?

It should be there shortly, some say tomorrow. Nothing planned yet? I personally strongly prefer xiaomi.eu ROMs, so I wouldn't like to format, change to Global, lose my TWRP just to know that eu version was coming. :p

Is Xiaomi.eu Going To Port Stable Miui 9 For Eol Devices?

As you all know, some devices (like my Mi Note) have recently been abandoned by Beta developers. But apparently they're going to release a couple of stable versions based upon MIUI 9.1 and 9.2. Now, is xiaomi.eu going to port those stable ROMs? It would be great, honestly. ;)

    Flashing Twrp

Well, an OTA update is basicly doing the same thing. Flashing an updated ROM is very easy, the Updater app does it for you, so the only difference between OTA and manual is the fact you have to put some clicks here on the site to download the ROM and put it on your phone. Maybe a wipe from TWRP...

    Flashing Twrp

Hm, I honestly don't know xiaomitool, but it's written on the installation page of every xiaomi.eu ROM that you absolutely NEED twrp recovery to flash this ROM. So, if this tool can install it, I would just assume it automatically flashes twrp. Oh, it wasn't clear you were on Global already! I...

    Flashing Twrp

The ROMs from xiaomi.eu need TWRP as a recovery to be flashed. So, no, you can't flash any recent xiaomi.eu ROM if you revert to stock recovery. If you want a vanilla MIUI 9 system with stock recovery and OTA updates you have to switch to Global, if you're on a xiaomi.eu ROM in this moment...

Will Older Devices Ever Be Upgraded To Nougat?

Is there any chance that older devices such as my Mi Note could ever receive a Nougat-based ROM? There's one feature that I envy a lot: the split screen. It's a thing that I used to have many years ago, on Samsung's Note 2, and it was really useful. It seems that it only works on Nougat-based...

How To Easily Install Twrp Recovery

I think I solved! Unchecked the read-only option, did a cache and dalvik/ART wipe and now the Updater app reboots the system into TWRP. Thanks for the answers guys! ;)

How To Easily Install Twrp Recovery

I think I got a grasp on what those commands mean. I obviously ALWAYS use "fastboot flash recovery recovery.img" because it's the command that actually flashes TWRP. Then I use "fastboot boot recovery.img" to access it.

How To Easily Install Twrp Recovery

I gave up that one because it was OT but I forgot to tell you, I'm sorry. :( Thanks for the tip! I'll definitely try if it works. I can boot to TWRP only after flashing, but as soon as I get back to the system, MIUI reinstalls its official recovery. I don't know if I get what you're telling me...

How To Easily Install Twrp Recovery

As I wrote in the edit to the previous post, when I flashed it the first time it gave me the choice to allow modifications or to keep read only. I did read only because the guide said so, but now that I have this problem I think that I should allow modifications. Thing is it doesn't give me the...

How To Easily Install Twrp Recovery

Yeah, this part is clear to me, I was just wondering if I needed to do both to get the question you talked about EDIT: the guide says to choose read-only, but I think that's my problem, I should have accorded full permissions to TWRP. Now no matter how I summon it, it doesn't give me the choice...

How To Easily Install Twrp Recovery

Do I enter TWRP with the second command we talked about or do I just reboot after flashing? EDIT: I just rebooted after flashing with volume up pressed and it just brought me into twrp, no question asked.

It goes into Mi Recovery. :(

How To Easily Install Twrp Recovery

Nothing. I was able to go into the TWRP thanks to the command, but then I rebooted to the system, I used the Updater app to reboot into recovery, and... Mi Recovery is still there. Seems like it reinstalls itself everytime I reboot the phone.

Downloads For The Weekly Roms Are Impossibly Slow

Test my bootloader? Sorry for the ignorance, how do I do that?

How To Easily Install Twrp Recovery

No, I used fastboot flash recovery recovery.img. Should I use the one you said AFTER the first one?

Downloads For The Weekly Roms Are Impossibly Slow

Tried to install it via fastboot, and for some obscure reason, Mi Recovery still pops out instead of TWRP. My bootloader shouldn't be locked, I'm pretty sure no xiaomi.eu weekly build ever locked the bootloader, and I have never had a Global or Chinese build. :(

How To Easily Install Twrp Recovery

I've done it and I still get Mi Recovery for some reason! The procedure was successful, it should've wiped out Mi Recovery completely. Don't know why it's still there.
