guys, all the informative apps that states the kind of the CPU, they identify the CPU wrongly, i haven't found any application that tells the correct model. the only way for anyone to see what kind of CPU he/she has, is to open the device and see whats written on the SOC itself. cpu mt.... ? mt what? if you bought a Mi3 based on a MTK something cpu, sorry to tell ya, but you bought a fake device. the TDCDMA is based on Tegra 4 chip, not a MTK one. currently, there's nothing you can do, no different rom can be flashed on fake Mi3s.

you don't have root implemented in stock rom. on the developer one, you should go to security>permission, as weeeeweeeeen wrote, and slide it to enabled position.

you're running on the dev rom, right ? it seems that this app needs root to function normally.

you're using the stock browser ? have you tried to use some other browser ? please provide some more information.

will it be possible to flash the recovery via the fastboot without putting the file directly on the storage of the phone? i've kinda killed mine with the exposed installer for the MIUI, and i can't access to anything on it... will i be able to mount the internal storage via the recovery itself...
