I'm using it since two days and right now it's quite good. Maybe not as good as some earlier releases but yesterday I had about 3,5 hours screen on time during normal use the whole day.

If you want to use the release version just flash the "MK44.4-aries-140630-RELEASE.zip" with CWM. I recommend a full wipe. For Gapps boot to Mokee, go to Settings/MoKee Center/Extras. Press the refresh button in the right corner on the top. In the appearing list choose and download "Google...

In contrast to CM11 you can update with the nightly if you've installed the release one and vice versa. But you have to do a full update which means that you have to download the complete rom. An OTA-update between nightly and release isn't possible.

I`m using Mokee since several weeks without any bigger problem. In my opinion way better than MIUI. Nevertheless, do you use the release or the nightly version?

Or try Mokee open source, in my opinion one of the best KK roms for our phone. Of course its no Miui but its quite smoother with less battery drain.

For me ART works fine and appreciable smoother than dalvik.

Update to 140620-RELEASE based on KitKat 4.4.4 is online. Still has no launcher settings but its smooth as hell.

Well, you are right. There is no launcher entry any more. But i cant imagine any lag. Even on batterysaving mode with limited clock speed its smooth at all.
