Yes, I have done in this way: you can type your password on Mi account login input boxes and copy it. Then you can paste it on wifi password input box (due to not showing keyboard)

I think disabling smart assistant solves that issue. If you have titanium backup, then from there, freeze 'Smart Assistant'. This worked for me. Hope this helps. Sent from my MI 5s using Tapatalk
