If I were to switch from Xiaomi.eu to a different custom ROM like PixelExperience or LineageOS, would I lose Widevine L1? Or does reverting back to global ROM cause Widevine L1? Is backing up persist.img necessary in those instances? I'm on MIUI 12 stable if that makes a difference.

The control centre randomly resets all the smart home (I use Google Home) shortcuts every day. I think rebooting might be the trigger. Is it a Xiaomi, xiaomi.eu or Google Home issue? I'm using Redmi Note 10 Pro (sweet). Edit: I'm pretty sure rebooting is the issue.

Clutter in the widgets menu. I already uninstalled the corresponding apps so I'm obviously not going to use those widgets.

How do I uninstall widgets from the stock Music, Weather and Clock apps? I presume there is a separate app name/code?

I can't really tell you yet since I've had it for less than a day and the initial setup drains a lot of battery by downloading all the apps etc, but it seems to be about the same battery life.

I had the same issue and I solved it by installing missing drivers on the pc. You can check if you have them installed by looking for "Android phone" (or similar) in your Device Manager, and if they're missing (yellow triangle) just google "Xiaomi USB drivers" and download & install.
