Very slow performance after Miui 11 update on Redmi 5 Plus

I have clean-installed the latest stable MIUI 11 on my Redmi 5 Plus, everything is all right with performance: no lags, freezes, bugs, crashes etc. It's definitely the best ROM I've ever had on thia phone. Try to reset the phone (or format data).

Xiaomi.eu ROMs and payments via NFC (Google Pay): will it work?

Hi everyone, I'm planning to order a Chinese version of Redmi K20, then I'll unlock the bootloader and flash a xiaomi.eu on it. In this case, will it be possible to use NFC and Google Pay? If I'm right, in xiaomi.eu ROMs' feature list there is "safety net passed" mentioned. Does it really work...

MIUI 11 MIUI 11.0 STABLE RELEASE

Is it OK to dirty-flash a stable MIUI 11.0.3 xiaomi.eu on Mi Max 3? Will it work normally? The current ROM is a stable 10.3.4. Sent from my Redmi 5 Plus using Tapatalk

MIUI 11 MIUI 11.0 STABLE RELEASE

I'm currently on this rom, everything works perfectly (including Messaging app). But you need to flash the ROM clean (with formatting data), esp when you switch from a beta rom. Sent from my Redmi 5 Plus using Tapatalk

MIUI 11 MIUI 11.0 STABLE RELEASE

Update it OTA: the ROM update version stays the same (11.0.3.0), but they have fixed the problems with launcher and other minor issues there. Sent from my Redmi 5 Plus using Tapatalk

New Call records saved with no sound

The problem with call recording is intrinsic to many of the latest xiaomi.eu MIUI ROMs based on Android Pie and Q. To temporarily solve it, just isntall a Magisk Skvalex module, and it should fix this issue (of course, it is a workaround, but at least it helps).

Resolved System launcher crashes on Redmi 5 Plus 11.0.3.0 (after a clean flashing).

Lots of thanks!!! In the 11.0.3.0 new version (which I got OTA) the system launcher doesn't crash anymore.

Invalid Max 3 messages keeps stopping crash since miui 11

Seems like you have performed a dirty flash (without data wipe), and your previous ROM presumably was not stable, but a beta MIUI version – this is when the error of database downgrade usually occurs. You should make a clean flash (with wipes of data, system, cache and dalvik), and everything...

MIUI 11 MIUI 11.0 STABLE RELEASE

Thanks for information! I'm updating it via OTA now. P.S. After having updated it, I noticed no changes at all, it is even the same version. It is only about minor fixes (anyway, it's excellent). Sent from my Redmi 5 Plus using Tapatalk

MIUI 11 MIUI 11.0 STABLE RELEASE

If mi flash unlock gives out the waiting timer (not an error), it seems like you'll succesfully unlock the bootloader in these 116 hours you have just mentioned. Anyway, you should wait for this time and retry to unlock then. And in case it fails to unlock (I suppose it won't), you'll have to...

Resolved System launcher crashes on Redmi 5 Plus 11.0.3.0 (after a clean flashing).

Although 11.0.3.0 is a great an almost flawless ROM, definitely the best I have ever installed on my HM5Plus (lots of thanks to the xiaomi.eu team for developing it), there is one minor bug. When you make any changes to the interface (e.g., change a font or its size/boldness, or apply different...

MIUI 11 MIUI 11.0 STABLE RELEASE

Obviously, you have ticked in Mi Flash "flash all and lock" and locked your bootloader. I suppose that the version of your phone is Chinese and the error occurs because the locked bootloader refuses to boot the global ROM you have just installed, right? Now you need to put the back cover off...

MIUI 11 MIUI 11.0 STABLE RELEASE

Folks, I need some advise: is there any sense in updating Magisk? I'm using the 19.3 version and it seems to work perfectly. Do I really need to update it?

MIUI 11 MIUI 11.0 STABLE RELEASE

Yep. In this case you should wipe data. I tried to switch from 9.9.26 beta to 11.0.3.0 stable without wiping data and got critical crashes. And when I wiped data, everything works great. Sent from my Redmi 5 Plus using Tapatalk
