Wow. Thank you so much!
I just removed these folders and now ringtones finally work!
Btw. TWRP module didn't work for me, showed me 'error accessing data partition'. I guess POCO F3 partition structure might differ from that of your MI11.
Certainly not, I just talked about my own positive user experience.
I was unsure about F3 stock ROM. I checked with other users and confirm: the stock ROM behavior is the same.
So, this subject shouldn't be considered a bug and is not expected to be corrected by xiaomi.eu team.
I still hope...
Ok, got it.
I doubt this is Xiaomi thing, I guess on stock ROM the icon is always visible, but i'm not sure, because I only used stock ROM for 2 weeks only. (On my old MI5 the icon is always visible).
Can anybody confirm, how it works on stock F3 ROM?
Nothing helps, too.
Also I noticed, that if I select custom tone for SIM2, the same tone is automatically applied for SIM1, and plays ok when pressing the blue area. If a call comes in on any sim, only the MI theme is played.
If I select a built-in tone for SIM2, the custom tone is reset for...
I got the same problem on POCO F3. I use the same button, can actually select my custom ringtone. It even plays back ok when pressing the blue area. But when a call comes in, the default tone is played.
Thanks, will try this out.
Hmm, if so, that's not a wise decision, I think. Why do you think this isn't a bug? Do you know where I could read anything about it?
For me, this icon is very important, because it
- informs, whether the headset is connected or not (away? lost? why is my music not playing from phone speaker?)
When a bluetooth headest is connected, a status icon should be displayed in notification bar near the "bluetooth enabled" icon.
But it is missing
Hpwever, the icon is visible if I drop down the switches panel.
Tested on 12.5.12 and 12.5.20
I guess it has something to do with front camera...
I'm trying to set custom ringtone for incoming calls.
I can successfully add it to ringtone selector, preview it and select it..
But on incoming call the default MI theme is played back instead.
Any built-in ringtone works ok.
Tried mp2 and ogg files.
The same problem is for both SIMs...
