Hi,
yesterday the screen of my girlfriends Mi4 suddenly turned into a green tinted color mode. In my opinion it seems like the red sub-pixels are completely broken.
Its not just a software problem until also fast boot and recovery mode showing the same issue.
Because she really likes her Mi4...
This is quite a great step. To avoid problems i would recommend to do a full wipe followed by a clean install. Lets see if i can give you some hints what to do:
Backup all your stuff and transfer all the backups to your computer, for your apps i recommend OandBackup (free on the F-Droid store)...
Yes if rild (thats how its written in the xda post) should mean ril, its the radio interface layer, in other words the connection between android and the hardware based radio and modem components.
I dont know if one can call this already alpha as ril is one of the fundamental components for a...
If someone wants to boot it up:
But please keep in mind that it doesnt seem to be ready for daily use. So please try it only if you're knowing what you do.
As you can note in the first post :
So most likely you will end in a bootlop when you try it with a newer Android version than this.
Beyond that are we talking about the same phone?
As far as i know the Mi2/Mi2s doesn't contain a Snapdragon 600 but a Qualcomm APQ8064 Snapdragon S4 Pro.
If...
Sounds quite strange. Maybe you should try to send some logs to bugers to give him the chance to solve it.
With microG since two days everything's running fine here. Only in the case youre are searching for an alternative.
I'm using a Mi2S, but since RC3 its necessary to use xiaomi_unified partitioning
I thought the same but in my opinion a corrupted file doesnt fit to the error message of a invalid system partition. Nevertheless its worth to check for sure.

- Updated stable/beta script to the actual MicroG packages
- Updated the included PlayStore to the new v7 version (7.0.12)
Actually i recomment installing the latest beta which is nicely stable and fixes a lot of errors -> 0.2.4.14
Still no uninstall script. Im a bit busy with my...
Peccato...
Would have been to good to be true getting a working Nougat ROM this early. But nice to see that there is someone takign care about it. Maybe even bugers is faster in creating a workung CM14. :P
Are you sure that it isnt just a longer duration to boot it up the first time instead of a bootloop?
I remember the first time installing ivans marshmallow rom which took about 10 to 15 minutes to boot the first time after installing it.
That should be the post you're talking about: http://www.cyanogenmods.org/forums/topic/update-aosp-7-0-nougat-rom-mi-2-2s-xiaomi/
To put it bluntly it seems to good to be true - anyone who gives it a try?
Well, I'm sure if you allow it to update play services it will install the original google one.
I'll post it in the xda-thread of Marvin, which is the developer of MicroG. Normally he is quite fast in fixing errors.
This should remove MicroG from your phones:
- Link removed -
EDIT: The script needs some rework until it didnt remove all components correctly. I'll provide a new version as soon as possible.
Hey rendolf, well-meant but until microG isnt my project my only work is to create a flashable zip from time to time and of course to keep thread alive. So no need to pay for.
Van motorrijders tot motorrijders - twee vinger begroeting ;) Ich hoffe das war richtig
Strange, for me it works...
Thanks - but only because of your great rom - keeps my phone alife and usable ;)
What do you mean with ANR? - But generally also the other location providers are doing a great job. I`ve used also the apple unifiednlp Backed for a while - had not a single reason to complain about.
Will add it...
