I have a Mi 11 Ultra and upgraded from 21.10.20 to 21.10.27. Installation went on fine and do not see any of the reported issues in the changelog. I also patched boot.img for Magisk and Magisk is working fine too.

Where the rom update has fastboot word suffixed to it, it needs to be done via fastboot only. Yes you need a laptop or desktop to do the same.

Managed to resolve the issue by doing this via Linux terminal. Not sure what was going wrong when I did this using Windows. I managed to install TWRP and I am now onboard Xiaomi.eu ROM. Thank you all for all your suggestion/help,.

Yes. I renamed the file as twrp.img. I am using command prompt only.

Yes. When I run "fastboot boot twrp.img", the command executes successfully. The phone reboots itself and goes directly to MIUI instead of going into TWRP.
