I Believe, you will always get issues with rooted devices, when using banking/streaming apps. As the app gets updated it'll be less compatible, maybe stop working altogether. I'm amazed it's working at all.

You can literally flash any rom with an unlocked boot loader. It doesn't matter what the stock version was. Choose a recent official stable or weekly China rom and flash a clean fresh install. No reason (not sure about OTA) to relock the bootloader. Which can only be done on any official China...

I blame Qualcomm and other component manufacturers just as much as Xiaomi for optimisation. Weekly builds, proves Xiaomi are trying.

All the apps I use are working without problems. For Santander I had to delete the TWRP folder, but that's it.

fair enough, i had a similar problem with my MI 11 Pro. I run the Mi unlock tool form the zip archive, not unzip and run. But really its the same thing. Are you using same PC？

Are the drivers installed? Open device manager and check "Android Phone" is probably recognized. Try closing and opening the Mi unlock software. You should still be signed in. It's not that.

Unfortunately, it's hit or miss, no Guarantees. We can only share our experiences. If I have problems with banking apps, I know I can return to official ROM's and lock BL and live with Chinese keyboard characters and apps.

Really, I just assumed you can, as it's Official firmware and it would mean unlocking and relocking the BL every time.

As the title says. Mi 11 Pro Using the Mi Flash Tool can I flash, checking the little box the says *clear all and lock" Can I also flash a lower version ROM over a higher version. I understand, you can fastboot install and OTA install. The ROM's are all official China ROM's.

I'm sure it'll be more clear when I start flashing. Evertime you flash does a new Mi Account number get created. If that's the case wouldn't that affect relocking, or is it serial number related.

One thing is very clear, it's important you know the region of your device, China or other.

Thanks, in part that would explain how the seller was able to flash a legit nighty over the factory rom. However I'm not sure how this relates to Mi Accounts. Wouldn't the account already be in use if the seller used Mi Flash Tool. Thanks again, it's starting to become more and more clear.

One other question is...how did the seller install this nightly build? Using "Mi Flash Tool"? Does the BL need to be unlock to flash Official China ROM's
