I still have black screen after "fastboot boot twrp.img" was waiting for 5 min and nothing. "fastboot reboot" to restart device and from updater go in recovery mode and its Mi-recovery 3.0 showing dont know what to do...

The device is in fastboot mode? If device is not listed there is problem with driver, or u running adb in wrong folder (make it in C:\adb\) from there run cmd fastboot devices - check connected device fastboot reboot - restart device

Try with type "fastboot devices". Hold Win key + R type in "cmd" for command prompt.

Hello! I have same problem with installing TWRP on my Mi8 SE. Im on stable 9.5.11.0 rom, when flash recovery everything pass ok but when try boot recovery screen stays black. If I try start recovery, it shows me Mi recovery 3.0 Device is unlocked (bootloader) and I dont use pin,pattern or face...

sometimes after clearing memory phone freez showing grey/black screen for 3-5 sec than its ok...Mi4c

I think its a feature...on Mi4c also 2 cores are stopped, they activated when app or game need more performance

I was having some problems with installing TWRP2840 from TWRP2500...after flashing TWRP2840 just pull out battery do not reboot reinsert batt go to recovery and u will have TWRP2840
