Is this correct? There's a jump from stable 17 to stable 25 for the Redmi MTK. Moreover, the name is completely different. We now have xiaomi.eu_multi_HM2013023_WCDMA_25.0.0_v5-4.2.zip whereas before it was JHBCNBF17.0... Why is that?

Small bug on Hongmi with Stable 15.0. I can no longer switch to 3G via Network type selection. It reverts to 2G all the time. It does work via the MTK tools though, so it must be a MIUI issue.

A long shot, but do you have an SD Card inserted? If so, maybe it is corrupted, so remove it and try if it works.

What is AP? I would seriously suggest you check the authenticity of the phone. Install CPU-Z and see if it gives you correct values (like 1280x720 screen, MT6589T chipset) or run Antutu, it should give you a benchmark value of around 15500
