Maybe you can try to install it with Mi PC Suite, but I'm not sure. I used updater without problems...

I've the china dev rom on my redmi 3 pro (unlocked but without Twrp) and everything works fine (fingerprint and italian sim card)

The stock versione is only English and Chinese and has no Gapps. Now you have to install (via updater) the Smiui or your country version (better in both system).

I have the same issue, but I think is a problem related to H3G and lollipop, not to Miui.

You have to replace the app in root/system/priv-app and restart the phone PS: look into your profile->conversations

I'm using MMS.apk from original v6 special edition and it works. Only English as usual. :(
