I solved that issue. I was being using Viper4Arise Deuteronomy. This destroyed the advanced headphone settings. Now I use the Viper4android Magisk Module and it works like a charm

Guys, my Mi MIX 2 came today. I SO MUCH want to use it but cannot download xiaomi.eu ROM due to sourceforge being down. On androidfilehost there is no MIX 2 ROM uploaded. Can somebody tell me why this is so? Is it not even out, yet? Thanks

DO NOT use the "flash_all_lock".sh or it's windows .bat pendant. Only use the "flash_all_except_storage" file. Your bootloader will stay unlocked, but you will have to reflash TWRP (which is no big deal as you hopefully know)

You can also make a TWRP backup and flash the latest China Developer ROM with the fastboot method. Usually this flashes the modem and/or bootloader partition along with all the other stuff. Be sure to use the "flash_all_except_storage.sh" (or .bat) file as not to wipe your storage and your TWRP...

I got mine from gearbest.com with a global stable rom (had asked them to not put their fake stuff on it) and was able to unlock it with MI Unlock tool without any issue. I only logged into my mi account on the stable rom, rebooted into fastboot mode and (obviously) got lucky: no verification...
