    Yeap,the kernel has a build-in mechanism to check if recovery is replaced. When you flash Twrp,you have to boot at least once and allow the system partition change that it suggests,so it doesn't get replaced!

    Try to redownload the latest fastboot global, and select flash all when flashing with MiFlash.. If that doesn't work flash the latest fastboot that works ok, and then flash the latest stable zip.

    You could try AOSP from vova.vafin... It's a mixed rom,it's got Clearmotion and some libs from miui... Camera quality is also good, and the only thing that doesn't work is radio. You can find also on XDA..

    That's on disadvantage of MIUI.. It's got settings everywhere. If you are in an app and don't know where the settings are, press and hold the touch button far left(three parallel bars) and you'll see the settings :) I can't help you on this.. I am not using SIP calls :-/
