I agree with this assumption. Otherwise there would be more people reporting problems. Although the mms.apk is the same as in xiaomi.eu-Roms, nobody is reporting this problem there. Also no bug-reports on en.miui.com

I was only installing sMIUI 6.3.24 and did not try anything else -- Update: Downloaded the ROM 6.3.24 from xiaomi.eu: MMs.apk is same size as from sMIUI 6.3.24, so I assume it has the same problem Thank you!

Just installed 6.3.24 on my Hermes. The Messaging FC problem reported for 6.3.17 is still there! Replaced Mms.apk with the one from 6.3.10 - now working fine!

I had the same issue (see #5650). Using MMS.apk from 6.3.10 solved the issue. Hopefully it will also be resolved by Xiaomi ...

Thank you for this ROM! I just flashed TWRP and 6.1.29 onto my Note 2 and thinks look fine! But I seem unable to select wallpapers from any source. They are displayed but I cannot select any. Not sure, but maybe my theme (default) does not allow me to change the wallpaper.
