Same for me on rn3pro. Gave up on this update after trying to install twice, clearly somethings wrong with it as I see multiple people having Wifi issues.

Wifi problem came back the next morning when I woke up. Have given up on this update.

So I went ahead and updated by choosing the zip in the updater app and WiFi now works... Weird

Weird, it doesn't work for me. Connecting to my 2.4 Ghz SSID worked which is why I assumed that the problem was with 5 Ghz. In any case, after restoring the nandroid backup 5 Ghz worked again. I dirty flashed the zip from TWRP, maybe that was the issue?

5 Ghz Wifi not working in this update on Redmi Note 3 Pro. Clearing cache didn't fix it. Back to 6.4.14.

The problem ended up being that I forgot to flash the cracked boot img. It's all good now.

I was having the same problem and did this. The phone booted to TWRP but then I just tried to reboot it and the phone won't boot, stuck on Mi logo. What gives? What can I do? I don't have any recovery zip in the phone. When booting to TWRP using this method MTP doesn't work.
