Dude, I can easyly reproduce the issue (even on brand new pones) It is just as easy as wait xD There must be something wrong with this phones. You even say you have a dummy sim card on the seccond slot, so yeah... Cheers!

The unlock-lock after 1 second is a way to prevent unlocking the phone by error when it's in your pocket for example. You can try to put one of your fingers on the light sensor (covering it) and unlocking the phone with the FP sensor. The phone won't unlock. That's why hehe About hte other...

I think that's not the problem we are experiencing here. We have signal but locked on "E" almost all the time. You can browse the internet but it is really slow. The phone never comes back to H/H+ even when we are on an area with full 3G coverage.

You can't use data at all? Not even "EDGE" ?

Just open Google Maps. I get H/H+ almost instantly :p

I do have this problem too! It is so anoying... MIUI 8 6.7.21 (Weekly) It seems like a bug to me.

I own the standar Redmi 3S (2gb RAM) and it has gyroscope :)
