@ingbrzy it doesn't matter. Indoor it's usually stable for me (basically whenever Android can get a location fix from a wifi), but outdoor, especially on countryside, it can be horrible. At some point I got 'beamed' about 1,000 km away - what a joke. Unusable for everyone who needs GPS.

Same problem here (Austria also) :-D really annoying, Mi5's GPS is almost completely useless when the exact location is needed. Sometimes (no idea why) it works, but then out of a sudden, it jumps around again, usually between 10 and 200m away, in one situation it was a 1000 km. I'm running...

just in case this is of use to someone .... I finally got CM13 installed on my Mi5, works flawlessly so far. Thanks a lot to graw and hybris22 for their help again - without them, I'd still be stuck!

I have unlocked the bootloader and installed TWRP fine on my Mi5 (originally containing 7.3.4 global). How would I install the xiaomi.eu_multi_MI5_6.9.1_v8-6.0.zip file linked from the first post of this thread on my phone? I have extracted the files and flashed system.img, boot.img, but now...

Can I take the DEV build to reinstall my phone (see my problem with unmatching boot.img on the previous page) completely? My phone came with 7.4.3 global, but I accidentally installed the boot.img from the Chinese version, now Wifi doesn't work anymore. I'd really like to fix this but don't know...

you mean a factory reset? that didn't help... :-( Or where can I find the ROM of my installed 7.3.4 Global, will it also contain the boot.img? thanks a lot for your insights... I'm still a n00b at this x-)

aaargh ... I was too careless obviously. Is there any way I can get the boot.img for my rom (the phone itself is still working with 7.3.4 global) or a way to reinstall the phone from scratch? (actually, my goal would have been to install TWRP+CM13) thanks, Rob

I have flashed the boot.img linked on the first page, now whatever recovery or ROM I'm flashing, Wifi doesn't work anymore!!! How can I fix this? My phone was on Global 7.3.4 stable
