I hear you. I'm happy with anything that is stable, pure Android ie no bloatware and makes use of the hardware to the maximum. I don't think there is any rom out there that really prolongs battery life which is what I think all of us want. 3000mah isn't great. Handsets should have 5000mah...

Although there isn't a global rom, there are custom roms like the eu rom and cyanogenmod. Most people are flashing the eu rom because it seems more stable. The only thing I don't know is if the eu rom supports side tap features and has the same camera app or camera quality as the stock rom...
