I did it without any wipe. Just followed the instruction. It flashes the rom via TWRP. Actualy I don't know why it failed when I tried to flash the rom manually from twrp :). How to check if bootloader is locked? I had unlocked it when I was installing the eu rom but now I have global stable...

Tried this http://en.miui.com/a-232.html instruction. Succssefully upgraded to miui 8 global from eu

So, it is better to flash oficial via fastboot?

Yeah. I got it :) waiting for permission to unlock :)

Tried to flash new recovery to my device fastboot failed with Error: "FAILED: (remote: Partition flashing is not allowed )". Did I understand correctly that I have locked bootloader?

I have 4/128

Please give me link to the right recovery and step by step instruction how tu flash it. Thanks in advance.

Hi! I am new here so I am sorry if this thread is a duplicate. I want to flash my Mi max with Miui 8 but using different ROMs shows me the error that I am using hydrogen device and ROM is for helium. Where can I take the ROM which will be installed to my device? Thanks in advance.
