i get a database error when i enter the official miui forum. nothing shows except the logo and a db error on the top right corner, and when i press the db error it goes to my miui profile which shows my personal info. same thing happens from the miui app, it just shows a db error. does this...

i updated from official v8.0.5 global stable to eu v8.1.3 and i cant access my backups. i get a notification saying something like "previous backup found, do you wish to restore?" but when i press restore it says "no backup". i can see on my micloud that the apps im trying to restore are there...

Have you tried the sim in a different phone to make sure it works; it could be a dev rom bug but since you said that you flashed the stable and the problem persisted it must be something else. Anyway if you want to flash the eu rom you need to have twrp if you don't have read this...

It may seen difficult at first look but it's a rather easy process. Just be aware not to download the latest twrp img because it has bugs. Download 3.0.2 or 3.0.2.1 Sent from my MI 5 using Tapatalk
