    Hi, I've already solved my problem. I flashed back the lower version of the China stable ROM and now I'm able to lock the boot loader. Need to lock the bootloader to use Android pay and other software.

    I flashed the original ROM that comes with it and it passed CTS. Afterwards just do an update to 8.0.17 and it will pass CTS. If you go straight to official 8.0.17, CTS will fail. Not sure why though but I did notice the update was about 200MB while the entire 8.0.17 was 1GB or so.

    hi thanks! those roms are for mi5, mine is a min5s. ive managed to pass the cts test by downgrading the rom. i think the new update must have broke something. thanks heaps to those who chipped in to help. greatly appreciate it.

    I've done the fastboot oem device-info and my bootloader is locked. The CTS results are: SafetyNet request : Success Response validation : success CTS profile match : false I've check using adb and fastboot, my phone is not rooted either

    Yes, i finally did it. I've just flash an official MIUI rom through miflash. Managed to get my bootloader locked and phone booting at last. However, it failed the CTS Test.     Doesn't seem to work for my mi5s on the stable Eu rom. I've also tried flashing both the latest China stable ROM and also the previous stable China ROM but I just can't get the phone to boot if I load the bootloader.
