Hi, I wanted to update my redmi 4 pro with the latest version -> xiaomi.eu_multi_HM4Pro_7.2.9_v8-6.0.zip. But when I installed it with TRWP it was a fresh installation and all installed apps were gone. I thought It would always update the installed version when I install the weekly builds? thx?

ok - so in twrp i choose e.g. a weekly build and just install it and my apps and files will still be there. in twrp there is no update option?

When I update the xiaomi.eu version with TWRP then it is like a new installation - correct? So my files, photos etc. are still there but I always have to install my apps again?

Take the xiaomi flashing tool and the global fastboot rom. Did the same and it worked.

I just took the Global Fastboot ROM and flashed it with the XIAOMI flashing tool and it worked.

Hi, I downloaded the new official global ROM miui_HM4ProGlobal_V8.1.2.0.MBEMIDI_a8edfe4ee7_6.0.zip and I wanted to flash it with twrp. But it says that checking of the zip signature failed and that there is no MD5 File in it? So how can i flash it with TWRP? Or do I need the fastboot ROM? thx
