Same problem. I'm afraid it's a hardware issue. Seems like many Redmi Pro's have a faulty screen and the problem begins to occur only after a few months of use. The flicker is especially noticeable in low brightness modes. The only way to fix this is to replace the screen.

No, it just means the seller installed a custom fake ROM with multilanguage support but with many other things broken. The phone itself is not a fake.

It depends how Xiaomi treats the Redmi Pro. I have a feeling it was never given a high priority and I don't think they are working on any substantial updates for this model. If it was a Global edition, then maybe. I think we should only expect standard software MIUI updates (including "security...
